Our Impactship Programme

Impact100 is a community of women, gathering to give. We believe that the community knows what the community needs.

To widen our collective awareness of needs and innovative solutions in our community, we are offering Impactships to inspire inclusion, and ensure diverse voices within our community are represented as part of our supporter base during each annual grant cycle.

 

The Impactship programme invites women to apply for a scholarship to become part of Impact100 for the year to help us widen our lens, learn from each other, and engage women of all backgrounds. We are looking for women who seek to contribute their time, talent, and insights as decisions are made about which charities might receive our major $100,000 grants to strengthen and support our local community. Women who are interested in becoming a member, but are not able to donate the full $1,000, are eligible to apply for an Impactship.

What is an Impactship?

An Impactship is a scholarship to join Impact 100 Wakatipu for one year. Women granted an Impactship enjoy full supporter benefits and participate in as much or as little of our programme as they would like. They are invited to join committees such as the Grants or Events Committee, meet and learn from previous recipients of our grant funding, attend all the events, and of course, they have a vote in our final grant allocation.

Eligibility

Women may be nominated or nominate themselves for the Impactship programme.

 

Candidates must be a woman or person who identifies as a woman who:

•     lives in the Whakatipu Basin

•     has a demonstrated history of community involvement, and

•     is committed to learning, contributing based on their own experience and connections, attending Impact100 events, and to meeting and being part of this year’s Impact100 whanau.

Selection

Impactships will be awarded as part of Impact100’s commitment to inspire inclusion and diversity among our membership. Selection decisions will be based on the applicant’s demonstrated commitment to community contribution and involvement.

Once you click ‘Submit,’ your application will be submitted for review by our Impactship committee. Decisions on awards will be made by mid March and successful applicants will be informed by the end of April 2024. Funding Impactships

Funds for Impactships come from a mix of Corporate Sponsors, and supporters.  If you are interested in funding an Impactship for a year, please get in touch at impact100@wakatipucommunityfoundation.org by 31 March.
